The potato salad is really chunky with a good amount of bacon pieces in it. It's got a pretty cool full service bar and they do take credit card unlike Philippes, but the lack of free parking is kind of a bummer. The Au jus is served on the side, but they don't really give you a lot. I soaked it all up with half the sandwich
The beef French dips are whatever, but the lamb sandwiches really shine. I used to go there on a regular basis when I worked in DTLA and went there frequently -can't go wrong with free parking and 10 cent coffees. Gotta get the lamb sandwich, beef is just plain, turkey is hit or miss -haven't tried the pork yet.
